This policy explains how SoftCare Solutions processes personal data in connection with this website, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR") and Romanian data protection law.

What data we process and why

When you contact us

The contact form on this website does not send or store anything on our servers. Submitting it opens your own email application with a pre-filled message. If you send that email, or contact us by phone, we receive the details you choose to share: typically your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.

We use these details only to answer your request and, where you ask for it, to prepare an offer or a contract. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you browse the website

Like any website, our servers and our hosting and security providers process technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and your browser's user agent. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is kept in server logs for a short period and is not used to identify you.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build visitor profiles.

Who receives the data

• Hosting and delivery providers. The website runs on servers located in the European Union and is delivered through Cloudflare, which acts as a content delivery and security network.
• Map provider. The map on the Contact page is loaded from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation), which receives your IP address when the map is displayed.
• Email and telephony providers that carry the messages and calls you send us.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and afterwards only for as long as the law requires us to (for example, for accounting purposes). Technical logs are kept for a limited period only.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, write to office@softcaresolutions.ro. We will answer within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
